'mignon' a patinated bronze bust cast from a model by e.villanis, circa 1896 of a peasant girl, signed in the bronze, title to socle base, engraved salon, 1896, stamped 92 ev 14 1/2in. Mélodie white marble, with an ivory and bronze lyre 77cm., 30¼in. Mignon was originally sculpted as a seated maiden, the upper half retooled by aizelin and cast by barbedienne.
